The Economy

Wanted: All U.S. citizens that are interested in finding solutions to help fix the economy.

Euphemia's Economy Blog

I am asking all citizens for their comments and opinions.

The economy is one of the biggest issues that we face each day.

Here is some of the issues that have come to the light from the past to now.

The Great Depression was considered the worst time in the economy history. It took nearly four years to see signs of recovery in this ordeal.

The Bank bailout was supposed to dig the economy out of the hole, instead it dug a deeper one.

In 2008, we were introducd to what some might call the great recession. It hit some of us hard that food stamps was the only option.

The overall Mid-America index rose from January 55.9 to February 58.4 , any score above 50 means growth. While the export index declined to 55.3 in february, from January's 60.4. The import index slipped in 56.6, from January's 56.7.

According to Ben Bernanke (The Federal Reserve Chairman), the economy will expand from 2.2 percent to 2.7 percent.

Wouldn't it be nice to see what it would take figure out a big solution to fix the economy?

The Economy

WANTED: All U.S. citizens who are interested in finding solutions to help fix our economy.

Euphemia's Economy Blog

I am asking all U.S. citizens for their suggestions,h on ways to fix our economy.

The economy is one of the biggest issues that we face in our lives.

It would be interesting to see how others are deeply affected by it.

If we could come together and share our ideas maybe we could one day, fix it.

It would be fantastic to hear others comments and concerns.

We can make a difference together.

Here is something to keep in mine:

In 2008, we were introduced to what some might call the great Recession. It hit some of us so

hard that food stamps was the only option left. It caused 3.5 million people relying on benefits. That's

61% of Americans receiving state or federal unemployment benefits. There were 8.7 million people

who lost their jobs in 2007, with less they 2.5 million have been recovered. One out of three have

been unable to find work for a year or more. (Kahan, 2011). The bank bailout also, took place around

this time. (Example: Most of us had hope that our economy would be a better place, we thought that

more jobs sould be created, the unemployment rates would drop.
